Nickel carbonate
Nickel carbonate, an inorganic compound with the chemical formula of NiCO3, is mainly used as a catalyst and can also be used for electroplating. Nickel carbonate is a mixture of one or several inorganic compounds containing nickel and carbonate. Nickel carbonate, rhombic light green crystal, decomposes at above 300 ℃, is soluble in ammonia water and dilute acid, insoluble in water, and is prepared by reaction of alkali metal carbonate and nickel sulfate. It is used for electroplating, ceramic coloring and glaze medicine.
